Robert F. Masters II began his career in his family's construction business in Charleston, S.C. Later, he and his brother started the Masters Company, a full-service real estate firm involved in the development, sale, leasing and management of Charleston-area properties, including the Ansonborough Inn, First Union Building, HarbourWatch subdivision and the Medical University of South Carolina's Trident Hospital Family Clinic.
Masters began his association with Bobby Ginn in 1986 as project manager for the Wild Dunes Resort, and later, for Dunes West before returning to the Masters Company. From 1995 to 1998 he practiced law with Robertson & Associates in Charleston. He joined Ginn Resorts™ as executive vice president in 1998.
Masters has strong ties to numerous business and civic organizations, including the Associated General Contractors of America, the Mechanical Contractors Association, Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters, the Exchange Club, Charleston Trident and South Carolina Board of Realtors, the Flagler County Homebuilders Association and the Special Olympics.
Masters graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a law degree. He is currently a member of the Florida, South Carolina and American Bar Associations.
